“ We had Palmetto's Smokehouse cater our Clemson Tailgate last weekend. The food and service was absolutely amazing. Irv and Jim were very responsive and helped our group of 15 from NY make everything go smooth! The food was absolutely delicious. Southern BBQ as you would picture it. We enjoyed the pulled pork and brisket, along with some mac and cheese and chicken wings. The highlight of the meal may have been the cajun brochettes. My only regret was not ordering more of those! ”

“ This was our first visit ever to Palmetto's, so we figured we'd start with an appetizer and figure the rest out afterwards - boy are we glad we did! We started with the haystack, some of the best french fries we've ever had covered by just about everything you can imagine, cheese, shredded meat, etc. It was one of the most amazing tasting appetizers we've ever enjoyed. We then went with the brisket platter with a couple of sides, all which tasted terrific. Our server AJ was a hard-working young man, splitting his time between bartending, oyster shucking, and serving our table in the dining room. He did an incredible job. We don't live in the Clemson area, but if we did we'd be at this restaurant quite often. With great food, friendly service, and affordable pricing this is truly a fun experience. ”
“ Definitely recommend coming here for the oysters. They were great! Enjoyed the grilled oysters, and the Mack the most. The red neck were interesting with the greens, I enjoyed them. Didn't care for the voodoo ones but they were okay. The shrimp and grits were too salty but very large plate, forgot to take a photo. Super friendly service ”
